how to apply

If you are considering applying to be a Charlotte Fellow, please give us a call or send us an email. We would love to tell you more about the program, answer your questions, and learn more about what you are looking for.

Applicants begin the admissions process by downloading and completing the application. In addition to the completed application, each applicant must submit an updated professional resume, a current unofficial college transcript, and 3 emailed recommendation letters as explained in the application. Once all application materials are received, applicants will be contacted by members of the Charlotte Fellows board for phone interviews. Applicants may also be asked to travel to Charlotte for a final interview. 

First Application Deadline: Monday, November 13, 2017

Applicants who submit their entire completed applications by 5PM on this date can expect a final decision prior to Christmas break. Applicants will be notified of admissions decisions by phone and email.

Second Application Deadline: Tuesday, January 2, 2018**

Applicants who submit their entire completed applications by 5PM on this date can expect a final decision by early February. Applicants will be notified of admissions decisions by phone and email.

Third Application Deadline: Thursday, February 1, 2018**

Applicants who submit their entire completed applications by 5PM on this date can expect a final decision by early March. Applicants will be notified of admissions decisions by phone and email.

**It is entirely possible that the class will be filled prior to subsequent application deadlines. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible. In the event that there are still spots open for next year’s class after all three pools of applicants have been considered, the admissions committee will continue to receive and consider applications on a rolling basis.
