SERVE

SERVE AS A CHARLOTTE FELLOW…

The goal of each Fellows’ spiritual and vocational development is to equip the Fellow to apply the Gospel as they serve their community and city. Charlotte Fellows regularly attend and serve at one of our partner churches. These PCA churches share a strong theological background while reflecting different demographic populations in Charlotte.

Fellows also work 3 days a week in paid internships, gaining both practical job skills and exploring how their faith impacts their work. The program’s network of employers around the city connects Fellows with individual part-time jobs and these relationships continue to benefit participants upon graduation. A few employers for the Fellows include Boosterthon (Elementary School Fundraising), The Charlotte Eagles (Marketing for Soccer Ministry), Project 658 (Refugee Ministry), and The Grit Group (Digital Marketing Agency).

Lastly, the Fellows spend one morning every other week learning about the city of Charlotte and the needs of its people through the work of local non-profits. In conjunction with growing intercultural competency, the relationships and opportunities created through these non-profit organizations challenge Fellows to find ways to serve the city of Charlotte.
