We would love for you to be a part of what God is doing through the Charlotte Fellows Program. Our largest needs for each year are for host homes, mentors, and work opportunities. That being said, we would love to connect if there are any other ways you would like to serve, such as providing a meal for one of our weekly dinners.
Host a fellow.
Every year we hear amazing stories about the rich connection between our Fellows and their host families. Our Charlotte hosts are generous families from our partner churches who are willing to share their homes and their lives with Fellows for nine months, although this deep relationship often continues beyond the program. In addition to providing a private bedroom, host families intentionally share a meal with their Fellow once a week. Whether you have several kids or live alone, we invite you to be a blessing to our Fellows this year through hosting.
Mentor a fellow.
This 1:1 investment in the life of a Charlotte Fellow is a highlight of the program. Mentors meet with Fellows biweekly, from September through May, to listen, encourage and do life together. Mentors are provided a loose curriculum to follow as needed and often find the mentoring experience personally transforming as well.
Hire a fellow.
Hiring a Charlotte Fellow will be a big win for your company and our Fellows’ development. The Fellow gains valuable work experience in a field of potential interest, while the employer gains a college graduate with integrity, work ethic, and talent for a defined nine-month period and a potential full-time hire. Fellows work Tuesday - Thursday and are paid a living hourly wage for their work. See a list of our past employers.
